Judi has been an on stage member of the society since 1974 and made
her debut as Artistic Director with our 2007 production of The Mikado, returning last year for Iolanthe.
Judi is enjoying her role this year and is making every effort to keep
this a traditional G&S production. Judi also is creating the props, helping with the scenery and will be again taking on the task of the Cast
Party. Because she is under five feet tall, she had some reservations about the
cast following her direction, but, since she has a very loud voice, she has not
encountered any difficulty with the leads and chorus at all. Judi believes
that this is everyone's show and the cast has been very helpful with the
staging of the more difficult scenes. She can't wait to see the final
product complete with costumes, props, scenery, lights and, most important, an
audience!
