Philip is back with The Scarborough Gilbert and Sullivan Society for his eighth year, as Earl of Mountararat in Iolanthe. We first saw Philip in his debut performance as the bad baronet; Sir Despard Murgatroyd, in the 2002 production of Ruddigore.
Philip returned in 2003 as Captain Corcoran in H.M.S. Pinafore, again as the elderly baronet; Sir Marmaduke Pointdextre in the 2004 production of The Sorcerer, and as the Sergeant of Police in the 2005 production of The Pirates Of Penzance, as Colonel Fairfax in The Yeomen Of The Guard, and as The Mikado of Japan in last year's production of The Mikado.
Philip also plays the guitar and has led singing programs for youth groups, senior citizens, church ministries, and more. Some of his fondest musical moments are Christmas around the piano, and summers with his guitar around the campfire.
Besides his passion for music, Philip is a husband and father. He works as a social worker in a Long Term Care Facility, and is an ordained deacon involved in parish and social ministries.
